OUR FAVORITE THINGS TO DO IN SAN DIEGO

Giant-Panda-at-San-Diego-Zoo.jpg

THE WORLD FAMOUS SAN DIEGO ZOO

The San Diego Zoo is a zoo in Balboa Park, San Diego, California, housing over 3,700 animals of more than 650 species and subspecies. The zoo was a pioneer in the concept of open-air, cageless exhibits that re-create natural animal habitats. It is one of the few zoos in the world that houses and successfully breeds the giant panda.

The zoo is also close to the wedding venue and hotels!

HIKING AT TORREY PINES

Torrey Pines, a natural reserve located on the Southern California Coasts, is one of the most picturesque places to go. Offering dessert landscapes, ocean views and rigged cliffs, it’s a recreation dream. The 1,750 acre reserve is named after the Torrey Pine tree. Juxtaposed against sandstone canyons and windswept cliffs, Torrey pines dot the coastal wilderness and hiking trails. The collection of trails at the park wind through the terrain, boasting postcard-worthy views at every turn.

The VIEWS at sunset CLIFFS

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park is a 68-acre City of San Diego regional park which extends 1½ miles along the Point Loma peninsula's western shoreline. This unique coastal environment features expansive ocean views, dramatic cliff formations and caves, a fascinating intertidal area, and native coastal sage scrub habitat, which provides connectivity to the adjacent Point Loma Ecological Reserve.

This is also where Kristinne took Chris the first time he came to San Diego, and where Chris proposed!

BALLAST POINT BREWERY
